Search Tips
Keyword search:
a. The keyword search is an "and" search. This means you may use more than one word. Just seperate the words with spaces. Keep in mind the more words you use the more specific the search becomes. The less words, the more broad the search will be.
b. If all the words you type are in the keywords of a record, then that record is selected for display.
Category search:
a. Choosing a category in the Category popup menu will narrow the search to within that category
Time period search:
a. This narrows any search to the selected number of days before the current date for that search criteria
Include graphics checkbox:
a. Any of the searches may include graphics. Just click on the Include Graphics checkbox before clicking the search button
New Search radio button:
a. The default search
Search within radio button:
a. The Search Within checkbox allows you to search within an existing result. If you have a search result, type in the new search word and just click on the Search Within radio button before clicking the main Search button. This type of search is like adding another keywordword to your main search. Remember the more words or more Search withins you use the more specific the search results will be.
b. If you do not click on the Search Within radio button, the search will be a new search within a category and any other selected criteria, if any.
Search button:
a. Click the Search button when you have your keyword(s), category, Include Graphics checkbox if needed, and Search Within checkbox if needed, selected.
