BINGHAMTON, NY -- Sept. 3, 2004 -- CHILD ARTIST 9 -- A painting entitled "Four." by art prodigy, Marla Olmstead, 4 of Binghamton, N.Y.. Olmstead has both admirers and critics. Olmstead is the subject of a film by Amir Bar-Lev currently showing at the Sundance Film Festival entitled "My Kid Could Paint That." Bar-Lev follows the story of the child, who sold hundreds of thousands of dollars of abstract paintings before her father was accused of secretly having a hand in the work.
